An intercultural event themed “Culture against hate speech and fake news” was organized with great success by the Biopolitics International Organisation (B.I.O.) (www.biopolitics.gr) in cooperation with the Avantgarde Culture and Development Center (www.avantgardecentre.gr). The event, held on 4-5 June 2021 at the Impact Hub of Athens, was part of the Pro Dialogue – Combating hate speech and fake news through the intercultural dialogue of citizens Erasmus+ project.
Με μεγάλη επιτυχία πραγματοποιήθηκε η διαπολιτισμική εκδήλωση “Ο Πολιτισμός ενάντια στη ρητορική μίσους και στις ψεύτικες ειδήσεις”, που οργανώθηκε από τη Διεθνή Οργάνωση της Βιοπολιτικής (B.I.O.) (www.biopolitics.gr) σε συνεργασία με το Κέντρο Πολιτισμού και Ανάπτυξης Avantgarde (www.avantgardecentre.gr). Η εκδήλωση πραγματοποιήθηκε στις 4-5 Ιουνίου στο Impact Hub, στην Αθήνα και ήταν μέρος του Pro Dialogue – Combating hate speech and fake news through the intercultural dialogue of citizens Erasmus+ project.
Doll artists from Greece and Russia, Konstantina Morou, Natalya Davidova, Alina Chirkova and Katerina Mitrakouand, the famous Shadow Theater player Sotiris Charitos aka Charidimos, photo from a particular campaign of Benetton, which signaled at its era the worldwide friendship&inclusivity and two pictures from Ethical Ode, from the fashion editorial Statements with a specific gravity in Philoxenia, photographed by Nikol Bartzoka and concept&fashion editing by Dimitris Grammatikoyiannis, exhibited their works together, using their artworks in an intercultural dialogue against Hate Speech. In appreciation of their support, B.I.O. awarded honorary distinctions to all participating artists, as well as to Elvina Tsantekidis for her warm embrace of the project.
Καλλιτέχνες χειροποίητης κούκλας από την Ελλάδα και τη Ρωσσία, Κωνσταντίνα Μώρου, Ναταλία Νταβίντοβα, Αλίνα Τσιρκόβα, Κατερίνα Μητράκου, ο πασίγνωστος καραγκιοζοπαίκτης Σωτήρης Χαρίτος γνωστός ως Χαρίδημος, φωτογραφία από παλαιότερη διαφημιστική εκστρατεία της Benetton, που σηματοδότησε σε συγκεκριμένη περίοδο τη παγκόσμια φιλία πέρα από εθνότητες και δύο εικόνες από το Ethical Ode, από το editorial Statements που έδινε ειδικό βάρος στη Φιλοξενία, φωτογραφημένο από τη Νικόλ Μπαρτζώκα, σε μια ιδέα του Δημήτρη Γραμματικογιάννη, παρουσιάστηκαν όλα μαζί για να εξυπηρετήσουν τον διαπολιτισμικό διάλογο κατά της Ρητορικής Μίσους. Η ΒΙΟ απένειμε διάκριση Τιμής Ένεκεν στις συμμετέχουσες εικαστικούς, καθώς και στην Ελβίνα Τσαντεκίδη, που αγκάλιασαν θερμά και υποστήριξαν έμπρακτα το εγχείρημα αυτό.
Delegates from 8 different countries (Greece, Germany, Russia, Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria, North Macedonia [f. FYROM] and Hungary) attended the event and greetings were delivered by: Efstratios Soubasakis, B.I.O. President: Isabelle Jahn, Coordinator of the European Program and President of Kontaktefür Europa e.V. Alexander Homenko, Cultural Attaché of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Athens and Director of the Russian Scientific and Cultural Center of Athens “Russian House”: Eugenia Kritsevskaya, Vice President of Avantgarde and Efthymios Bakas, f. Secretary-General of Lifelong Learning at the Hellenic Ministry of Education.
